WPP is the world's largest communications services group with strong brands in all its markets. The Group consists of more than 150 companies, where each is a distinctive brand in its own right, collaborating in providing clients tailor-made solutions. The group combines global reach with local knowledge. WPP is well positioned for growth being exposed to dual growth drivers; digital business and emerging markets. WPP has a leading position in many fast-growing markets and long-term target is to increase this geographic share from 28% to 35-40%. Revenue growth exceeded competitors for the third consecutive year in 2010 (5% growth on constant currency basis). Similar rate is expected in 2011 and the year 2012 looks promising due to large-scale events which increase global advertising and marketing growth rates. A primary business risk is discretionary spending and possible fiscal tightening in US and Europe which can have effect on revenue and earnings growth. Average net debt is down £513 million to £2.558 billion reflecting continously strong cash flow in the first half of 2011.
