LONDON -(Dow Jones)- Qatar Investment Authority, owner of Qatar Holding LLC, said Monday it bought 2.43 million shares in diversified mining group Xstrata PLC (XTA.LN) on May 25 at GBP9.2069, lifting its total holding to 260.68 million shares, or 8.681%.
-Xstrata closed Friday at 912.6 pence valuing the company at GBP27.4 billion
