STOCKHOLM -(Dow Jones)- Alfa Laval (ALFA.SK), the Swedish maker of heat exchangers, separators, pumps and valves said Friday it has received an order from a Technip Samsung Consortium to supply Alfa Laval equipment to Royal Dutch Shell PLC's (RDSB.LN) Prelude floating liquefied natural gas facility.
MAIN FACTS:
-Alfa Laval is unable to disclose the value of the order due to a confidentiality agreement.
-The Alfa Laval equipment consists of desalination units, heat exchangers and filters.
-"We are very proud to be part of this technology breakthrough in the energy field," Chief Executive Lars Renstrom said in a statement.
-"This order confirms our strong position as a reliable partner to the major players in the oil and gas industry."
-Shares closed Thursday at SEK119.70.
