STOCKHOLM--Saab AB (SAAB-B.SK), the Swedish defence company, said Friday it has received a SEK131 million four year agreement with BAE Systems PLC (BA.LN) in Ornskoeldsvik, Sweden.
MAIN FACTS:
-The agreement, which is for the period 2013-2016, includes the delivery of automotive electronics for 144 Norwegian CV90 infantry fighting vehicles.
-BAE Systems in Ornskoeldsvik has received an order from the Norwegian Armed Forces to implement an upgrade programme for the Norwegian CV90 infantry fighting vehicle.
-In turn, BAE Systems has signed an agreement with Saab regarding the supply of automotive electronics for displaying vehicle, command and sensor information.
-The deliveries include a computer network and operator displays as well as digital video systems with cameras.
-At 0713 GMT shares traded 1.9% higher at SEK112.60.
