PARIS--The Canadian health regulator said Thursday it will test supplies of bladder cancer treating drug Immucyst manufactured by Sanofi SA (SAN.FR) at a plant that was closed to ensure that they meet quality standards.
During an inspection in June, the regulator ordered the closure of the Canadian plant after finding mold and then held the supplies of unsold drug.
The regulator, Canada Health, has asked Sanofi to advise practitioners of the situation.
