Dell Inc. (DELL) chief executive Michael Dell on Tuesday said the company was facing "challenges" in China and agreed that there was a slowdown in sales in the country.
Mr. Dell, who was speaking in an interview at Fortune's Brainstorm Tech conference in Aspen, Colorado, said he and the company's board plan to visit China in early September.
He also announced that the computer-maker has formed a $60 million venture fund that will invest in storage technology companies. The fund plans to make investments of $3 million to $5 million in startups.
